Syngonium Neon - 12 CM
Approx $15.51 USD
Syngonium Neon Robusta is a beautiful pink variety of the popular arrowhead vine family.
Known for its striking arrow shaped leaves, this is a relatively unusual plant that is easy to care for and grow. Once the plant reaches maturity, the new leaves will form a new shape, taking on more of a star than an arrow. Three to five segments will form from each one, giving it a variance that is becoming increasingly popular. The marbling of the leaves with its unique dusty pink colouring also make it a stand-out choice, without the fuss of many other variegated plant types.
LIGHT: Although these plants are extremely low light tolerant, they will grow faster and maintain their vibrant colouring and markings if grown in medium to bright indirect light. Direct sun will scorch their leaves.
WATER: Plant likes lightly moist soil, so water only when the top two inches of soil feel dry. Needs a lot less in winter.
SIZE: comes in 12 cm nursery pot, 25 cm high
Indoor plants are great for enhancing your décor. They can liven up or soften a space with minimal effort. Major benefits include filtering
toxins from the air, increasing your sense of wellbeing and can even improve your productivity. Foliage plants incredibly attractive for
indoors with their lush evergreen foliage. Such a wide range to choose, from frilly fronds to big, bold, brightly coloured leaves, foliage
houseplants set the tone in any room.
Water plants regularly to keep the soil evenly moist to avoid a feast or famine approach. The frequency you need to water the plant will depend upon the room temperature. In summer it could be as often as once a week in summer and fortnightly in winter. Indoor Plants need light to create their energy and survive, so if a plant isn’t getting enough light it’ll exhibit some tell-tale signs, look out for pale growth and weak flowering. If your plant shows these signs move it to somewhere that has more light. Most indoor house plants originate from sub-tropical rainforests where humidity can be as high as 100 per cent. To provide similar conditions, spray the foliage of plants with warm water regularly. Fertilisers help to keep the plant healthy by ensuring it gets the nutrients it needs. Newly purchased or recently re-potted plants should not be fed with fertiliser until they are a couple of months old as it can burn the roots because they are not well established.
