Featuring a generous rectangular configuration, certified 6mm safety glass, brushed aluminium framing, chrome hardware and easy-clean nano coating on both sides, this shower door kit combines durable construction with contemporary styling. With the flexibility to be configured for either right or left installation, it is particularly suitable for renovations and new builds where bathroom layout and access need to be carefully considered.

Description – Vogue Pilar Rectangle Shower Door Kit Only

The Vogue Pilar Rectangle Shower Door Kit Only provides a practical enclosure solution for creating a spacious and contemporary shower area. Designed around a rectangular configuration, the shower door kit offers additional width compared with compact square shower designs while maintaining a practical 870mm depth.

With overall dimensions of 1160mm wide x 870mm deep x 2000mm high, the Vogue Pilar provides a generous shower enclosure footprint suitable for bathrooms where a larger showering area is preferred.

The rectangular format can provide a more comfortable shower experience by offering additional lateral space compared with smaller square enclosures. This makes the kit suitable for main bathrooms, larger ensuites, renovation projects and new-build homes where the available room dimensions can accommodate a more generous shower footprint.

The 2000mm height provides a tall and contemporary enclosure profile. Combined with clear glass, the height creates a substantial shower area without making the bathroom feel unnecessarily enclosed.

Clear glass allows light and sight lines to continue through the shower enclosure, helping maintain an open and spacious bathroom environment. This is particularly beneficial in bathrooms where the shower occupies a significant proportion of the available floor area.

A major advantage of the Vogue Pilar shower door kit is its right or left installation capability. The enclosure can be configured to suit either orientation, providing useful flexibility when planning the bathroom layout.

This is particularly important during renovations, where existing walls, plumbing, vanities, toilets and doorways may determine the most practical shower access arrangement.

Rather than being limited to a dedicated right-hand or left-hand model, the ability to select the configuration during installation provides greater flexibility for different bathroom designs.

For new builds, this versatility can also make planning easier by providing more freedom when determining the final arrangement of bathroom fixtures.

The shower enclosure uses certified 6mm safety glass compliant with AS/NZS 2208. Safety glass is designed for applications such as shower enclosures where appropriate strength and safety performance are important.

The 6mm glass provides a practical combination of durability and visual lightness. It allows the enclosure to maintain a contemporary appearance while providing a suitable glass specification for regular residential shower use.

The transparent glass design also allows bathroom tiles and shower fittings to remain visible. This can be particularly effective in design-focused bathrooms where decorative wall tiles, stone-look finishes or feature shower fittings form part of the overall interior.

The glass features an easy-clean nano coating on both sides. This coating is designed to help reduce the attachment of water marks, soap residue and common bathroom deposits.

Because the nano treatment is applied to both sides of the glass, it provides additional maintenance convenience across the complete panel surface.

Regular cleaning is still necessary, particularly in frequently used showers, but the nano-coated surface helps make ongoing care more manageable and supports a clearer appearance.

The shower door kit incorporates a single door configuration. The door itself has a specified thickness of 25mm including the frame, providing a clearly defined component dimension for installation planning.

The single-door arrangement creates a straightforward shower entrance and maintains a clean visual appearance across the rectangular enclosure.

The door system uses chrome-on-brass rollers with plastic components. The brass-based roller construction provides a durable foundation for regular operation, while the chrome finish coordinates with the shower's other metallic details.

A chrome handle complements the roller finish, helping create a consistent appearance across the door hardware.

Chrome remains a versatile bathroom finish because it works with a wide variety of tapware, shower mixers, accessories and interior styles. Its bright metallic appearance provides a clean contrast against the brushed aluminium frame.

The main enclosure uses brushed aluminium framing. This provides structural definition while creating a softer metallic appearance than highly polished finishes.

Brushed aluminium works well in contemporary bathrooms because it offers a neutral and understated finish that can coordinate with both cool and warm interior palettes.

The combination of brushed aluminium framing and chrome hardware creates subtle variation without introducing strongly contrasting colours. This makes the enclosure easy to integrate into bathrooms containing existing chrome fixtures.

Aluminium also provides practical characteristics for shower enclosure construction. It is relatively lightweight, durable and well suited to wet-area applications when correctly maintained.

The enclosure includes transparent door seals designed for water tightness. These seals help contain water within the shower area during regular use when the complete enclosure is correctly installed.

Transparent sealing components maintain the visual openness of the clear glass while providing an important practical water-management function.

Correct alignment of the door and seals is important for achieving the intended performance. The enclosure should therefore be installed and tested according to applicable installation instructions and industry practices.

For bathroom renovations, the Vogue Pilar Rectangle Shower Door Kit provides an effective option for customers wanting to replace a smaller or outdated shower enclosure with a more generous rectangular design.

The additional width can create a more spacious showering environment while the 870mm depth remains manageable for many residential bathroom layouts.

The ability to install the enclosure in either a right or left configuration is particularly useful during renovation work. Existing room conditions can often restrict where a shower door can be positioned, so reversible orientation provides valuable flexibility.

For new-build homes, the enclosure can be incorporated into the bathroom plan from the beginning. The 1160mm x 870mm footprint can be coordinated with the vanity, toilet, bath, storage and surrounding circulation space.

The tall 2000mm glass profile can contribute to a more premium bathroom appearance while maintaining visual openness.

The rectangular geometry works particularly well with modern bathroom design. Large-format tiles, floating vanities, linear tapware and other contemporary elements often use strong horizontal and vertical lines that complement a rectangular shower enclosure.

The brushed aluminium framing provides enough definition to establish the shower as a dedicated area while the clear glass prevents the enclosure from visually dominating the room.

This combination can work effectively in minimalist bathrooms where visual clutter needs to be reduced.

The shower door kit can also complement more traditional interiors due to the neutral metallic finishes. Chrome hardware and clear glass are versatile enough to work across a wide range of bathroom styles.

The kit is supplied as a shower door kit only. The tray, liner, waste, adhesive and sealant are not included.

These components must be selected separately according to the intended installation. Customers should account for these additional requirements when planning the complete shower project.

A compatible tray and liner should be chosen according to the enclosure dimensions and orientation. Waste placement and plumbing requirements should also be confirmed before installation.

The adhesive and sealant selected for the project should be suitable for the applicable shower components and installation method.

Correct waterproofing remains essential. The shower enclosure and door seals help control water during use, but they do not replace the bathroom's required waterproofing system.

The complete shower installation needs to be planned as an integrated wet-area system incorporating the enclosure, tray, liner, plumbing, seals and surrounding structure.

Installation must be completed according to industry-standard practices, relevant codes and applicable guidelines. Plumbing and electrical work associated with the wider bathroom project should be completed by licensed or registered professionals where required.

Before installation begins, all supplied components should be inspected after opening. The glass, aluminium profiles, rollers, handle and seals should be checked for condition, dimensions and appearance.

Products should also be tested and inspected immediately following installation to confirm appropriate operation, performance and appearance.

Measurements should be verified carefully before cutting, drilling or permanently fitting any components. Specifications can change, so installers should re-measure the actual product and installation area rather than relying solely on nominal dimensions.

The 1160mm width, 870mm depth and 2000mm height should all be incorporated into detailed bathroom planning.

The door configuration should also be selected according to the intended access route and surrounding fixtures. Although the kit can be installed either right or left, the most practical orientation depends on the specific bathroom layout.

Adequate access should be maintained around nearby vanities, toilets, walls and other fixtures.

The shower's rectangular shape can provide practical benefits for customers who prefer additional showering space. The extra width can create a less confined environment compared with compact square enclosures.

This makes the Vogue Pilar suitable for customers who prioritise shower comfort but still want a clearly defined enclosure rather than an open wet-room arrangement.

The clear glass further enhances this feeling by avoiding solid visual barriers. Light can pass through the enclosure, helping the entire bathroom feel more connected.

For bathrooms with feature tiles, the transparent panels allow those surfaces to remain visible from outside the shower. This can help maximise the impact of decorative bathroom materials.

The nano coating on both sides also provides an important maintenance advantage in this context. Keeping clear glass looking clean is an important part of maintaining the appearance of a modern shower enclosure, and the treated surface helps support routine care.

The brushed aluminium frame provides a practical balance between structural definition and understated styling. It does not create the strong visual contrast associated with black framing, making it suitable for customers who prefer a lighter bathroom aesthetic.

Chrome hardware provides additional brightness and can coordinate with many commonly available bathroom accessories.

The transparent seals continue this understated approach by providing functional water control without introducing visually heavy components around the glass.

Together, these elements create an enclosure that is contemporary but versatile enough to remain suitable across changing bathroom trends.

The Vogue Pilar Rectangle Shower Door Kit is therefore well suited to customers who want a practical combination of generous dimensions, installation flexibility and straightforward modern styling.

For renovators, its right or left configuration capability can help accommodate existing bathroom constraints. For builders, the clearly specified dimensions and materials make it easier to incorporate into project planning.

For homeowners, the combination of clear glass, easy-clean coating, chrome hardware and brushed aluminium provides a shower enclosure that is designed around everyday usability as well as appearance.

The door kit should always be matched with compatible shower components before installation. Because the tray and liner are not supplied, their dimensions and installation requirements need to be checked carefully.

The waste location should likewise be coordinated with the selected tray and existing or planned plumbing.

Adhesive and sealant requirements should be confirmed according to the installation instructions and materials used within the shower system.

When all components are correctly selected and installed, the enclosure can provide a clean and practical shower environment suitable for regular residential use.

The product's compliance with the specified AS/NZS 2208 safety glass standard provides an important material specification for New Zealand bathroom projects.

Combined with correct installation according to industry practices and applicable requirements, this supports a shower enclosure designed for modern residential applications.
