Description – Posh Poppas Family Range Potato & Gravy Poppers 400g

Frozen Potato and Gravy Bites with Crispy Crumb Coating and Creamy Savoury Filling

Posh Poppas Potato & Gravy Poppers are frozen ready-to-cook snack bites featuring mashed potato encasing a savoury gravy filling, coated in a crispy wheat-based crumb and batter system. Designed for oven baking or frying, they deliver a crunchy exterior with a soft, rich interior.

The filling is built on potato flakes blended with emulsifiers for smooth texture, encasing a 14% gravy core made from corn starch, maltodextrin, milk-based ingredients, yeast extract, roasted chicken powder, mushroom extract, onion extracts, and spices. This creates a layered savoury profile with umami depth and creamy mouthfeel.

The outer coating includes wheat flour crumb and batter system with maize starch, thickening agents, and raising agents to ensure crisping performance. Canola oil supports even frying and golden colour development, while stabilisers maintain structural integrity during cooking.

From a nutritional perspective, this product is relatively low in protein, moderate in carbohydrates, and contains moderate fat levels due to frying oil and dairy-based gravy components. Sodium levels reflect the seasoning intensity required for gravy flavour delivery.
