Description – Mr Chips Crowd Pleasers Premium Shoestring Fries 900g

Mr Chips Crowd Pleasers Premium Shoestring Fries 900g are made from 87% New Zealand-grown potatoes, cut into thin shoestring-style fries and coated in a specially formulated batter before being par-fried in canola oil and snap frozen to preserve quality and consistency.

The batter coating includes wheat flour, modified starches, rice flour, dextrin, dehydrated vegetables, mineral salts, and emulsifiers. This combination is designed to create a light but crisp outer layer that enhances crunch during oven or air fryer cooking.

The shoestring cut increases surface area significantly, allowing the fries to cook quickly and achieve a consistently crispy texture. This makes them ideal for consumers who prefer a lighter chip with a high crunch factor.

Canola oil is used in the par-frying process to support browning and crisp development. Once cooked, the fries deliver a golden, crunchy exterior while maintaining a soft potato interior.

The seasoning profile is intentionally mild and versatile, allowing these fries to complement a wide variety of dishes and sauces. They are ideal for dipping into aioli, tomato sauce, BBQ sauce, gravy, or cheese-based toppings.

Their thin profile also makes them suitable for loaded fries, share platters, and snack-style servings. They hold seasoning well and provide a light but satisfying eating experience.

Mr Chips continues its tradition of using quality New Zealand-grown potatoes and careful processing methods to ensure consistent texture and flavour across every batch.
