Description – Leanne's Kitchen Chicken and Vegetable Dumplings 250g

New Zealand Made Dumplings with Chicken, Mixed Vegetables, and Aromatic Asian Seasoning for Fast Meal Preparation

Leanne's Kitchen Chicken and Vegetable Dumplings are a frozen ready-to-cook product manufactured in New Zealand, combining wheat-based dumpling wrappers with a chicken and vegetable filling. The product is designed to deliver a clean, balanced flavour profile while maintaining simplicity, speed, and consistency in preparation.

The dumpling wrapper is made from wheat flour and water, providing a soft yet durable casing that holds the filling during cooking without tearing. The filling consists of chicken (18%) combined with a 21% vegetable blend including green peas, corn, carrots, and mushrooms. This combination delivers a balanced texture and flavour profile where chicken provides lean protein and vegetables contribute natural sweetness and earthiness.

The seasoning system includes soy, onion, ginger, garlic-infused soybean oil, sesame oil, rice wine (derived from wheat), and spices. This creates a layered aromatic profile typical of Asian-style dumplings, enhancing both taste and fragrance during cooking.

Soybean oil is included to improve mouthfeel and ensure moisture retention within the filling, resulting in a juicy texture after cooking. The product is designed for rapid preparation, typically ready within five minutes depending on cooking method (steaming, boiling, or pan-frying).

From a nutritional perspective, the dumplings provide relatively high protein content with lower fat levels compared to pork-based alternatives. This positions them as a lighter option within the frozen dumpling category, suitable for consumers who prioritize balanced macronutrient intake.

Allergen information includes soy, gluten (wheat), and sesame, ensuring full transparency for dietary-sensitive consumers in accordance with New Zealand food safety requirements.
