Description – Klässich Framed 900mm Chrome Shower Door Kit Only - Square

The Klässich Framed 900mm Chrome Shower Door Kit Only - Square provides a clean and practical shower enclosure solution for New Zealand bathrooms where a defined square footprint, clear safety glass and versatile chrome styling are preferred. Designed as part of the Klässich Framed series, the kit combines substantial glass construction with a structured aluminium profile and practical hardware for suitable residential shower installations.

The shower door kit measures W 870mm x D 870mm x H 2000mm, with an adjustable range from approximately 870mm to 860mm. These dimensions create a compact and balanced square enclosure while providing useful installation adjustment within the specified range.

Although described as a 900mm shower door kit, the actual product dimensions and adjustment range should always be used when planning the installation. The available shower area must be measured carefully before fitting to confirm compatibility with the enclosure.

The square configuration provides equal width and depth, creating a straightforward footprint that can work particularly well in bathroom corners. This balanced format is useful for ensuites, family bathrooms, guest bathrooms, rental properties and suitable new-build layouts where efficient use of floor area is important.

At 2000mm high, the enclosure creates a substantial vertical presence. The generous height gives the shower a contemporary appearance while providing extensive clear glass coverage.

The clear glass helps maintain visual openness throughout the bathroom. Rather than introducing opaque surfaces that divide the room visually, the transparent panels allow sightlines and light to continue through the enclosure.

This can be particularly valuable in smaller bathrooms and ensuites. A clearly defined shower enclosure is still created, but the transparent glass helps prevent the shower from making the room feel unnecessarily enclosed.

A key feature of the Klässich shower door kit is its certified 8mm safety glass. The glass complies with AS/NZS 2208 requirements, providing an appropriate safety-glass specification for the intended shower application.

The substantial 8mm glass construction works together with the framed profile to create the main enclosure structure. Appropriate safety glass is an important consideration for bathroom installations because the enclosure is used frequently and operates in a wet environment.

The inside surface of the glass is nano coated. Shower-facing glass is regularly exposed to water, soap and normal bathroom residue, making ongoing maintenance an important part of everyday ownership.

The nano coating is designed to support easier routine cleaning of the interior glass surface. Regular care remains important, but this feature helps make the enclosure more practical for frequently used residential bathrooms.

The chrome finish is one of the defining characteristics of this Klässich model. Chrome provides a bright, clean appearance that can coordinate naturally with a wide selection of bathroom fixtures.

Chrome shower mixers, basin mixers, towel rails and accessories can be used to create a coordinated metallic theme throughout the room. This makes the enclosure particularly useful for bathrooms where chrome is already the dominant hardware finish.

The reflective character of chrome can also complement lighter bathroom interiors. White tiles, marble-look wall surfaces and neutral finishes can provide a clean backdrop for the polished-looking profile.

Grey concrete-inspired surfaces provide another effective combination. Chrome can introduce brightness against darker or more textured wall finishes, creating contrast without making the shower enclosure visually heavy.

Timber-look cabinetry can also work naturally with chrome hardware. The warmer appearance of woodgrain surfaces can balance the cleaner metallic finish and help create a contemporary bathroom with varied materials.

Because chrome is widely used in bathroom design, the enclosure can integrate with both new and existing interiors. This can be particularly helpful during renovation projects where some fixtures are being retained.

The aluminium profile provides the primary framing material. Its chrome finish creates clear definition around the glass while retaining a bright and versatile overall appearance.

As a framed shower enclosure, the Klässich design has a more defined structural outline than minimally framed or open-panel alternatives. This can appeal to homeowners who prefer a clearly enclosed shower area with coordinated framing around the glass.

The shower uses a single-door configuration, providing straightforward access for regular use.

Importantly, the door is reversible for suitable left or right installation. This provides useful flexibility when planning shower access around the surrounding bathroom layout.

Vanities, toilets, bathroom doors, towel rails and storage can all influence which direction is most practical for the shower entrance. A reversible door allows the enclosure to adapt more easily to different room configurations.

This flexibility is particularly valuable during renovation work. Existing bathrooms frequently have established fixture locations that cannot be changed easily, making adaptable shower access an important consideration.

For new-build projects, the reversible configuration provides additional freedom during the design stage. The shower orientation can be considered alongside the placement of other fixtures before the final installation is completed.

The door includes a stainless steel handle. This provides a practical and durable operating component for everyday shower access.

A magnetic seal is also incorporated into the door system. The seal provides a practical closure feature, helping the door meet and remain appropriately closed during normal shower use.

The combination of certified glass, aluminium framing, stainless steel handle and magnetic seal creates a coordinated enclosure system for suitable professional installation.

This product is specifically a shower door kit only. The tray and liner are not included.

This distinction is important when planning the complete shower. Compatible tray, liner and any other required components need to be selected separately according to the bathroom dimensions and intended installation.

The enclosure should not be treated as an independent waterproof shower system. It forms one part of a complete installation that includes the shower base, wall system, seals, waterproofing, drainage and other relevant components.

Waterproofing of the liner and tray must be completed correctly. In addition to normal plumbing industry installation standards, the shower must be installed using the applicable Waterproofing Instructions provided for the liner and tray.

Correct waterproofing is fundamental to the performance of the complete shower. The door, glass and magnetic seal provide enclosure functionality, but they do not replace appropriate wet-area preparation and waterproofing.

Accurate measurement is equally important. Specifications and measurements may change, and all positions must be checked and re-measured before cutting, drilling or completing other permanent fitting work.

The W 870mm x D 870mm dimensions and adjustable 870mm to 860mm range should be physically confirmed against the prepared shower area before installation begins.

Wall conditions and alignment should also be considered. Correct preparation helps ensure that the framed profile can be positioned accurately and that the reversible door operates as intended.

The product should be inspected immediately after opening. The glass, framing, handle, magnetic seal and other supplied components should be checked for condition, appearance and correct specification before permanent installation.

Pre-installation inspection helps identify potential concerns before the enclosure is drilled, fixed or integrated with surrounding bathroom components.

Following installation, the complete shower should be rigorously tested and inspected for compliant performance and appearance.

Door alignment and movement should be checked carefully. The single reversible door should operate smoothly in the selected configuration, while the magnetic seal should align correctly during closure.

The glass and framing should also be checked to ensure that the enclosure is appropriately aligned and installed.

Installation must follow applicable industry-standard practices, codes and guidelines. Plumbing and any associated electrical work must be undertaken by appropriately licensed or registered industry professionals.

Professional installation is particularly important for a glass shower enclosure because correct fixing and alignment influence both everyday operation and the finished appearance of the shower.

Products supplied for these applications are intended to meet applicable New Zealand Building Code B2 Guarantees and Durability requirements together with relevant plumbing and AS/NZS standards.

With more than 50,000 bathroom and kitchen renovations undertaken each year, practical shower enclosures remain an important consideration for New Zealand homeowners and professional trades.

The Klässich Framed 900mm Chrome Shower Door Kit addresses this requirement through a combination of certified safety glass, adaptable sizing, reversible access and versatile chrome styling.

For homeowners renovating an existing bathroom, the chrome profile can integrate naturally with many commonly installed bathroom fittings. This can make it easier to create a coordinated appearance without replacing every existing fixture.

For complete renovations, the enclosure can form part of a clean contemporary design incorporating matching chrome tapware and accessories.

For new-build homes, the square footprint can be incorporated into the bathroom plan early in the project. The enclosure dimensions, access direction and surrounding fixtures can then be coordinated before installation.

The 2000mm height contributes to the contemporary appearance and provides a strong vertical profile without relying on dark or visually dominant framing.

For ensuites, the clear glass can be particularly valuable because it allows the room to remain visually open despite the presence of a defined framed shower enclosure.

For family bathrooms, the practical single-door configuration, magnetic closure and substantial glass construction provide straightforward everyday functionality.

The adjustable range adds another useful installation characteristic. While accurate preparation remains essential, adjustment between approximately 870mm and 860mm provides a degree of fitting flexibility within the specified parameters.

Overall, the Klässich shower door kit provides a balanced combination of contemporary styling, practical enclosure features and installation flexibility for suitable New Zealand bathroom projects.

Why Choose This Klässich Framed 900mm Chrome Shower Door Kit Only - Square?

The Klässich Framed 900mm Chrome Shower Door Kit Only - Square is a practical choice for New Zealand bathroom projects where versatile styling, certified safety glass and flexible shower access are important considerations.

The chrome finish provides one of the enclosure's primary advantages. Chrome remains highly adaptable and can coordinate naturally with a wide range of bathroom fixtures, making it suitable for both contemporary new bathrooms and renovation projects.

If the bathroom already features chrome shower mixers, basin mixers, towel rails or accessories, the enclosure can integrate naturally with the existing hardware.

For new bathrooms, the chrome profile provides a clean foundation around which other fixtures can be selected.

The clear glass complements this bright metallic finish. Rather than visually closing off the shower area, the transparent panels preserve sightlines and allow light to move through the bathroom.

This is particularly useful in ensuites and smaller rooms where maintaining a sense of visual space is important.

Certified 8mm safety glass provides an appropriate specification for the intended shower application, with compliance to AS/NZS 2208.

The inside nano coating adds practical value by supporting easier routine maintenance of the shower-facing glass surface.

The reversible single door is another important advantage. Being able to configure the enclosure for suitable left or right access provides greater flexibility when working around existing or planned bathroom fixtures.

This can simplify renovation planning where the vanity, toilet or bathroom entrance already determines the most practical door direction.

The adjustable 870mm to 860mm range adds further installation flexibility within the specified dimensions. Accurate measurement remains essential, but the adjustment capability provides additional scope for fitting a correctly prepared shower area.

A stainless steel door handle provides a practical operating component, while the magnetic seal supports straightforward everyday closure.

The framed aluminium profile creates a clearly defined enclosure structure. For homeowners who prefer a more traditional framed shower format but still want contemporary materials and clean glass, this combination provides a useful balance.

The 2000mm height further contributes to the modern proportions of the enclosure.

It is important to account for the fact that the tray and liner are not included. Appropriate compatible components must be selected separately when planning the complete shower.

Waterproofing must also be completed according to the applicable instructions for the tray and liner, in addition to relevant plumbing industry installation requirements.

All dimensions and positions should be physically checked before drilling, cutting or permanent fitting. The enclosure should be inspected before installation and rigorously tested after fitting.

For homeowners, these features provide a clean and versatile shower enclosure that can coordinate with a broad range of bathroom designs.

For builders and renovators, the specified dimensions, adjustment range, reversible door and certified glass provide useful information for project planning.

For developers, the chrome finish offers broad visual compatibility and can work naturally across many residential bathroom styles.

Together, the clear glass, chrome aluminium framing, stainless steel handle, magnetic seal, reversible door and adjustable dimensions create a practical enclosure solution for suitable modern shower installations.
