Description - Brushless Chain Saw 16" 2x21V - Skin Only

The Brushless Chain Saw 16" 2x21V - Skin Only combines cordless mobility with substantial cutting performance for garden, landscaping and property maintenance applications.

Its brushless motor operates with two speed settings of 8100 RPM and 13,500 RPM. Corresponding chain speeds of 15m/s and 25m/s provide flexibility when working across different suitable cutting requirements.

The 16-inch bar provides useful cutting capacity for a range of outdoor maintenance jobs while maintaining the portability and convenience of a cordless chainsaw.

An automatic lubrication system helps keep the bar and chain lubricated during operation. Bar and chain oil is required and must be added before use. The chainsaw should never be operated without the appropriate oil.

Tool-free chain tensioning makes it easier to perform routine chain adjustments without needing additional tools. This is particularly useful when maintaining the correct chain tension during regular use.

A double safety brake provides an important operational safety feature, while the cordless design eliminates the restrictions associated with mains power leads.

The chainsaw uses a 2x21V battery system and is compatible with suitable Makita batteries. Two compatible batteries are required for operation, with 4.0Ah Li-ion batteries recommended to deliver maximum power output.

This model is supplied as a skin only. Batteries and charger are excluded and sold separately.
