Description – Birds Eye Deli Garlic Herb & Lemon Battered Chips 600g

Birds Eye Deli Garlic Herb & Lemon Battered Chips 600g are made using 84% potatoes, coated in a seasoned batter mix and snap frozen to preserve texture, flavour, and cooking quality.

The coating includes wheat and rice flour, potato starch, canola oil, and stabilisers designed to create a crisp outer layer when cooked in the oven or air fryer. This ensures a crunchy exterior while maintaining a soft potato interior.

The flavour profile is built around garlic powder, lemon peel, parsley, and natural flavouring, creating a bright and aromatic chip with citrus freshness and herbal depth. The lemon adds a zesty lift while garlic and herbs provide savoury balance.

Acidity regulators such as sodium bicarbonate and food acid (296) help ensure consistent cooking performance and a golden finish. Guar gum and xanthan gum improve coating adhesion and texture stability during cooking.

The battered coating enhances crispiness and ensures the seasoning remains locked into the chip surface, delivering strong flavour in every bite. Once cooked, the chips provide a crunchy texture with a soft potato centre and a fresh garlic-lemon aroma.

This product is designed for cooking from frozen and must be fully cooked before consumption, ensuring optimal texture and food safety.
