Description – Klässich 900mm Square Shower Tray Centre Waste - White Marble Look

The Klässich 900mm Square Shower Tray Centre Waste - White Marble Look combines practical square dimensions, refined marble-inspired styling and improved construction for suitable New Zealand bathroom installations.

Designed as a square shower tray, it measures W 900mm x D 900mm x H 110mm, providing balanced proportions that can integrate naturally into many residential shower layouts.

The 900mm x 900mm footprint is particularly useful for bathrooms where space needs to be carefully managed. Many ensuites, guest bathrooms and compact family bathrooms require efficient placement of the shower alongside the vanity, toilet, storage and other fixtures.

This tray provides a clearly defined shower area without requiring the extended footprint of a larger rectangular configuration.

The square design creates a straightforward installation profile. Equal width and depth dimensions can coordinate naturally with compatible square shower enclosures, glass panels and surrounding bathroom features.

At the same time, the 900mm dimensions provide practical internal showering space for everyday residential use.

The overall height of 110mm provides a clearly defined tray profile. This includes a substantial 90mm base together with a reinforced 40mm upstand.

These dimensions should be considered carefully during installation planning because the tray needs to coordinate correctly with floor levels, drainage, waterproofing, shower glass and surrounding bathroom construction.

Based on previous feedback, the design and quality of Klässich shower trays have been improved. The updated construction focuses on practical features that support both installation requirements and everyday shower use.

One of the most noticeable features of this model is its white marble-look finish.

Rather than using a completely plain white surface, the tray incorporates a subtle marble-inspired appearance that adds visual refinement while maintaining a clean and versatile bathroom style.

The white marble look can help create a bright and spacious appearance, particularly when paired with clear shower glass and lighter bathroom surfaces.

Its neutral colouring also allows the tray to coordinate easily with a wide range of interior styles.

Black shower framing and tapware can create a strong contemporary contrast against the white surface. This combination is especially effective in modern bathrooms where dark hardware is used as a design feature.

Chrome fixtures can provide a brighter and more traditional contemporary appearance. The reflective metallic finish works naturally with the clean white marble-inspired surface.

Brushed metallic fittings can introduce softer contrast, while white bathroom fixtures can create a coordinated and streamlined look.

The tray can also complement grey concrete-look shower liners, stone-inspired wall surfaces, subway tile designs and neutral bathroom finishes.

This versatility makes it suitable for homeowners who want a shower base that can adapt to different design directions rather than restricting the room to one specific style.

The anti-slip finish provides an important practical feature. Shower trays operate in consistently wet conditions, making surface characteristics an important consideration alongside appearance.

The anti-slip surface is integrated with the white marble-look design, allowing the tray to combine decorative styling with practical everyday functionality.

Construction consists of acrylic-capped ABS with scratch-resistant properties.

A shower tray is exposed to regular foot traffic, water exposure and cleaning, so a practical surface construction is important for maintaining both appearance and usability.

The scratch-resistant acrylic-capped ABS material provides a durable foundation for everyday residential shower use.

It also supports the clean finished appearance of the tray, helping the marble-inspired surface remain visually appealing over time.

The tray incorporates a substantial 90mm base.

This provides the primary foundation for the shower tray and should be considered when planning the installation depth, drainage connection and surrounding floor structure.

The base height needs to be coordinated with the complete bathroom design to ensure the shower integrates correctly with the finished space.

The reinforced 40mm upstand is another important feature.

Designed to help achieve a better seal and reduce the chance of leaking when correctly installed, the upstand contributes to the tray's role within the complete shower system.

Water management is essential in wet-area construction. The shower tray must work together with the enclosure, waterproofing, seals, drainage and surrounding wall system.

The reinforced upstand helps support the connection between these components when the installation is completed correctly.

Professional installation remains essential because the tray alone cannot replace appropriate waterproofing and sealing practices.

The shower uses a centre waste configuration with waste placement specified at 428mm x 428mm.

A centre waste arrangement positions the drainage point within the main body of the shower tray, creating a balanced drainage layout within the square footprint.

This configuration can provide a symmetrical appearance and allows the waste to sit away from the outer edges of the tray.

The specified 428mm x 428mm waste placement provides installers with a clear reference when planning the plumbing connection.

The waste itself is not included.

A suitable compatible waste must therefore be selected separately according to the drainage requirements and complete shower system.

This provides flexibility for installers to choose an appropriate waste fitting for the specific bathroom project.

For renovation projects, the existing drainage position should be assessed carefully before installation.

Where plumbing is already established, the installer should confirm that the centre waste configuration is suitable before permanent fitting begins.

For new-build projects, the centre waste position can be incorporated into the bathroom design and plumbing plan from the beginning.

This allows the drainage, shower floor and surrounding construction to be coordinated more effectively.

All measurements and positions must still be physically verified before installation.

Specifications and measurements may change, and positions shown in installation information should always be checked and re-measured before cutting, drilling or completing other permanent fitting work.

The actual W 900mm x D 900mm x H 110mm dimensions should be confirmed against the intended shower area.

The 428mm x 428mm waste position, 90mm base and reinforced 40mm upstand should also be considered before surrounding components are installed.

The square configuration makes the tray particularly straightforward to coordinate with compatible shower doors and panels.

However, sufficient room around the enclosure should still be considered to allow comfortable access and movement.

The bathroom layout should take into account the positions of the vanity, toilet, bathroom entrance, storage and other nearby fixtures.

In an ensuite, the 900mm square format can provide a practical shower area while preserving valuable space for other essential bathroom components.

In a guest bathroom or secondary bathroom, it can provide a clean and functional shower solution without requiring a large floor footprint.

For main bathrooms, the square design can be useful where homeowners prefer to allocate additional space to a larger vanity, bath or storage.

The white marble-look finish enhances each of these applications by providing a refined but adaptable appearance.

Clear shower glass can allow the marble-inspired surface to remain visible, helping the shower tray become part of the overall bathroom design.

The tray can also coordinate naturally with modern wall finishes.

Stone-look tiles can create a layered contemporary appearance, while grey or concrete-inspired surfaces can provide contrast against the white marble styling.

The product should be inspected immediately after opening and before permanent installation begins.

Its dimensions, surface finish, anti-slip texture, base, upstand and waste placement should all be checked.

Pre-installation inspection helps identify potential concerns before the tray is permanently fitted or surrounding bathroom work proceeds.

Once installed, the complete shower system should be rigorously tested and inspected for compliant performance and appearance.

The tray should be considered as one component of the complete wet-area system.

Drainage, sealing, waterproofing, enclosure alignment and surrounding construction all contribute to the performance of the finished shower.

Installation must follow applicable industry-standard practices, codes and guidelines.

All plumbing and any associated electrical work must be completed by appropriately licensed or registered industry professionals.

Professional installation is particularly important because incorrect drainage or sealing can affect the performance of the entire bathroom wet area.

Products supplied for these applications are intended to meet applicable New Zealand Building Code B2 Guarantees and Durability requirements together with relevant plumbing and AS/NZS standards.

With more than 50,000 bathroom and kitchen renovations undertaken each year, New Zealand homeowners continue to seek bathroom products that combine practical functionality with contemporary styling.

The Klässich 900mm Square Shower Tray responds to this demand by combining a compact square footprint with a refined white marble appearance.

The improved construction provides practical installation features, including a reinforced upstand and scratch-resistant acrylic-capped ABS surface.

The centre waste arrangement creates a balanced drainage layout, while the anti-slip finish supports everyday shower use.

For homeowners, this provides a combination of style and practicality.

For builders and renovators, the clearly defined specifications provide useful information when planning compatible shower installations.

For developers, the neutral white marble look provides broad design appeal across different bathroom styles.

The result is a versatile shower tray designed to support modern bathroom projects where space efficiency, appearance and practical construction are all important.
