Description – Klässich 900mm 3-Sided Shower Tray Centre Waste - Grey Marble Look

The Klässich 900mm 3-Sided Shower Tray Centre Waste - Grey Marble Look provides a durable and stylish foundation for modern shower installations. Designed for residential bathroom projects, this shower tray combines practical functionality with an attractive stone-inspired appearance, making it suitable for customers looking to create a premium bathroom environment.

Manufactured by Klässich, this shower tray is designed for homeowners, builders and renovators seeking a reliable shower base solution for New Zealand bathroom projects. Products are developed to meet relevant durability expectations, including NZ Building Code B2 requirements, along with applicable plumbing and AS/NZS standards where required.

The shower tray features a 900mm wide x 900mm deep square design, providing a practical shower footprint suitable for many residential bathroom layouts. The square shape offers a balanced and efficient design that works well in ensuites, family bathrooms, renovations and new-build projects.

The 3-sided shower tray configuration is designed for shower installations where three sides integrate with the surrounding bathroom structure. This makes it suitable for compatible shower enclosures, doors and wall arrangements that require a defined shower area.

A key feature of this shower tray is the grey marble look finish. The stone-inspired appearance provides a more decorative alternative to traditional plain shower bases, helping create a sophisticated and contemporary bathroom aesthetic.

The grey marble look finish works well with a wide range of bathroom styles, including modern, minimalist, luxury and natural-inspired interiors. It can complement grey tiles, white bathroomware, stone surfaces, black fixtures and other contemporary finishes.

The marble-inspired appearance allows homeowners to achieve a premium visual effect without requiring a fully natural stone shower base. This provides a practical balance between style, durability and everyday usability.

The tray is manufactured from acrylic-capped ABS scratch-resistant material, providing a durable surface designed for regular bathroom use. This material construction combines strength, smooth finish quality and practical maintenance benefits.

The acrylic-capped ABS surface helps resist general scratches and everyday wear while maintaining an attractive appearance. With correct care and cleaning, the tray is designed to provide a long-lasting shower foundation.

The tray includes a centre waste configuration, with waste placement positioned at 170mm x 170mm. A centre waste layout provides a balanced drainage arrangement and creates a symmetrical appearance within the shower floor.

Please note that the waste is not included and must be purchased separately according to the required plumbing requirements. Selecting the correct compatible waste fitting is important for achieving effective drainage performance.

The shower tray features a 90mm base, providing structural support and helping establish the required shower height within the bathroom layout. The base design contributes to the overall stability of the shower installation when correctly fitted.

A reinforced 40mm upstand is included to help create a stronger seal between the shower tray and waterproofing system. This feature helps reduce the chance of water leakage when installed correctly according to recommended procedures.

The reinforced upstand provides additional support during installation by improving the connection between the tray and surrounding waterproofing elements. Proper waterproofing remains essential for achieving long-term bathroom performance.

The improved shower tray design has been developed based on previous feedback, focusing on enhanced quality and reliability. The stronger construction helps provide greater confidence for homeowners, installers and builders.

For bathroom renovations, the Klässich Grey Marble Look Shower Tray provides an effective way to update an existing shower area. The decorative finish adds visual interest while the durable construction provides practical everyday performance.

For new builds, this shower tray offers homeowners and designers a stylish option for creating modern bathrooms. The grey marble look finish provides a versatile design element that can coordinate with many interior concepts.

The square 900mm format provides an efficient use of space while maintaining a comfortable showering area. This makes it suitable for bathrooms where layout efficiency is important.

The shower tray’s neutral grey marble appearance allows it to integrate easily with different shower screens, doors and bathroom fittings. It provides a flexible foundation for creating a coordinated bathroom design.

Installation must be completed according to industry-standard practices, relevant codes and manufacturer guidelines. A licensed or registered professional should complete plumbing and electrical work where required.

Before installation, the shower tray should be inspected after opening to confirm the condition, dimensions and appearance. Measurements should always be checked carefully before fitting to ensure compatibility with the planned bathroom layout.

Correct waterproofing procedures are essential for shower installations. The tray must be installed following suitable waterproofing requirements to support long-term bathroom durability and help protect surrounding structures.
