Description – 198L Chest Freezer White - Mechanical

The 198L Chest Freezer White - Mechanical provides generous frozen food storage in a straightforward and practical chest-style appliance. Measuring W 905mm x D 545mm x H 845mm, it offers 198L capacity, making it suitable for families, small cafes and businesses that require more freezer space than a compact model can provide.

Its spacious interior provides room for everyday frozen groceries as well as larger or bulk purchases. Meat, seafood, frozen vegetables, prepared meals, frozen pizzas and other suitable items can be stored together while remaining conveniently accessible through the top-opening design.

A removable wire basket provides dedicated storage for smaller or frequently used products. This helps prevent smaller items from becoming difficult to locate at the bottom of the freezer while leaving the deeper main compartment available for larger packages and bulk food.

Mechanical temperature control keeps operation simple. The control knob provides freeze settings from 1 to 7 together with a maximum freeze setting, allowing the freezer to be adjusted according to different frozen food storage requirements.

The freezer uses manual defrost and features a recessed handle for convenient access. Two castor wheels on the side help with repositioning the appliance when required, which can be particularly useful during cleaning or when reorganising the surrounding space.

With a stated operating noise level of 40dB, the appliance provides quiet everyday operation. It has a 3 Star MEPS energy rating and uses R600a refrigerant with Cyclopentane as the foaming agent. The unit operates at 220 to 240V and 50Hz and is stated as MEPS and SAA approved.

The single-door configuration does not include a lock or internal light, keeping the design simple and focused on practical frozen storage. Its combination of generous capacity, mechanical controls and convenient organisation makes it suitable for both household and appropriate business applications.

For delivery, two strong people must be onsite to receive the appliance and assist with lifting. After delivery and positioning, the freezer should remain switched off for eight hours before being turned on to allow it to settle.
