Description – Vogue 1200mm Rectangle Shower Tray - 3-Sided

The Vogue 1200mm Rectangle Shower Tray - 3-Sided provides a strong and practical foundation for creating a modern shower area. Designed for residential bathroom applications, this shower tray combines a generous rectangular layout with durable materials and installation-focused features to support reliable everyday use.

Manufactured by Vogue, this shower tray is designed for homeowners, builders and renovators seeking a dependable shower base solution for bathroom projects throughout New Zealand. Products are developed to meet relevant durability expectations, including NZ Building Code B2 requirements, along with applicable plumbing and AS/NZS standards where required.

The shower tray features a 1200mm wide x 900mm deep rectangular design, providing a larger shower footprint compared with standard square trays. This generous size creates a more comfortable showering area while maintaining an efficient layout suitable for many residential bathrooms.

The rectangular shape is particularly suitable for customers wanting additional shower space without requiring a large custom-built shower area. It provides room for comfortable movement while allowing efficient use of available bathroom floor space.

The 3-sided shower tray design is designed for specific shower enclosure configurations where three sides integrate with the surrounding bathroom structure. This format provides a practical option when planning a complete shower installation with compatible shower screens or doors.

The tray is manufactured from acrylic-capped ABS scratch-resistant material, providing a durable and smooth shower surface designed for everyday bathroom use. This material combination offers strength, easy maintenance and resistance against general wear.

The acrylic-capped ABS construction provides a clean and practical finish that is suitable for modern bathrooms. The smooth surface helps make regular cleaning easier while maintaining a neat appearance over time.

The tray features a right-centre waste placement measuring 200mm x 450mm, providing a practical drainage position for compatible plumbing layouts. The right-centre waste design allows the shower base to be coordinated with suitable bathroom plumbing arrangements.

Please note that the waste is not included and must be purchased separately according to the required plumbing setup. Selecting the correct waste fitting is important to ensure proper drainage performance and installation compatibility.

A key feature of this shower tray is the 55mm low profile base. The lower profile design provides a sleek modern appearance while helping create a more streamlined transition between the shower area and the surrounding bathroom floor.

Low profile shower trays are increasingly popular in contemporary bathroom designs because they provide a cleaner visual appearance. They can help create a more open and modern shower environment when correctly installed.

The tray also includes a reinforced 30mm upstand designed to help create a stronger seal between the tray and surrounding waterproofing system. This feature helps reduce the chance of water leakage when installed correctly according to recommended procedures.

The reinforced upstand provides additional support during installation by helping create a more secure connection between the shower base and bathroom waterproofing elements. Proper installation remains essential for achieving reliable long-term performance.

The improved shower tray design has been developed based on previous feedback, focusing on enhanced quality and functionality. The reinforced construction and practical layout help provide greater confidence for homeowners, installers and builders.

For bathroom renovations, the Vogue 1200mm Rectangle Shower Tray provides an effective way to upgrade an existing shower area. Its larger rectangular format allows homeowners to create a more comfortable shower space while maintaining a clean and modern appearance.

For new builds, this shower tray provides builders and designers with a versatile foundation for creating contemporary bathrooms. The larger dimensions make it suitable for homes where a more spacious shower experience is preferred.

The rectangular design works well with a variety of shower screens and door configurations. When combined with compatible shower components, it can help create a complete and functional shower enclosure.

The clean white appearance of the shower tray allows it to coordinate easily with different bathroom styles. It can complement modern tiles, glass shower screens, chrome fittings and a wide range of interior finishes.

Installation must be completed according to industry-standard practices, relevant codes and manufacturer guidelines. Plumbing and electrical work associated with bathroom installations should be completed by licensed or registered professionals where required.

Before installation, the shower tray should be inspected after opening to confirm the condition, dimensions and appearance. Measurements should always be checked carefully before fitting to ensure compatibility with the intended bathroom layout.

Correct waterproofing procedures are essential for shower installations. The tray must be installed following appropriate waterproofing requirements to support bathroom durability and help protect surrounding structures.
